Transcending Childhood Religion: Three Women’s Journeys to Broaden Their Faith

10 September 2019 –  This is a joint podcast that will also be aired on Daughter of Creation.

In this episode, we track the transformational events that cause us to question the religion of our childhood. Three perspectives from three very different women about broadening their faith. Out of a sense of injustice toward greater inclusion and more distinctly feminine expressions of faith.

Aelah Skye, M.Div,  holds a mission of LOVE, to help people uncover their wounds so that they can live in deep soul communion with themselves and the world. She hosts a podcast called Daughter of Creation, which highlights…

  • new voices on the leading-edge of social change
  • expanding our understanding of community as an economy and new ways of flowing money toward the values and causes, we believe in,
  • how we can grow our interdependence in relationship to each other and the Earth,
  • practices for re-creating our relationship with time, money, and the land

We are the creators & leaders that will move us forward in a new Earth based on love, community, and connection.

She gives transformational sermons on Sundays as part of the WILD church movement for creating love-centered spiritual communities. She offers Creation Code attunements to help you master the tools of creating with love and integrity so that you can own your rightful place as a creator in love and service of the new Earth.

Aelah received her Masters of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary (2010). She served as a college chaplain at the Center for Faith & Justice at Xavier University and later created an intentional service community house as part of the Fresh Expression movement through the Episcopal Church. In 2013 she opened an emotional healing practice and yoga studio in California. She began her career as an environmental and community organizer in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and the social justice movement still informs her world view and daily practice.
